winter
winter sky by day
at night the swoon circle glows …
waxing and waning
... original haiku of Robert Lew Terrell
winter sky by day
at night the swoon circle glows …
waxing and waning
the myriad white …
we drift on thoughtful breezes
each, we pretended
it was understood …
we were neither one okay
but we were all right
quietly closing
a keystain under the rock
light freeway traffic
in this windowland
all hiding is in plain view …
and, truth is breezy
in a hundred years
after my head has thawed out …
will you marry me?
colors gathered trance …
above, a sun-white gray wash
autumn solitude
within this crawlspace
colors in the sounds I smell …
real life, more or less
birds are gathering …
don’t flap your apocalypse
it’s only winter
your life is good now …
am I your flying buttress
holding back your pain
